1. EPS foam boards are the cheapest compared to rock wool boards and PU boards. Of course, his flame retardant ability and thermal insulation capacity are not comparable to the previous two. But it is good enough, so 90% of customers in China choose EPS foam boards. Winter temperatures in most parts of China are not very low, I think this is the main reason. However, if fire protection is required, it is better to choose rock wool. EPS is white, lighter and easier to install. The high quality EPS density is at least 14kg/m3.

2. Rock wool is the heaviest among the three. Rockwool's flame retardant capacity and insulation capacity are better than EPS foam boards. In many countries, winters are very cold, so they need more insulation panels, such as Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, etc. Of course, the cost of rock wool board is higher than EPS. The rock wool board is also defective, that is, it is soft and loose, and there is no EPS toughness. In addition, if the human body touches it, it may cause damage to the skin and cause itching.

3. PU wall panel The best among the three. It has the strongest flame retardant and thermal insulation properties, and it is also heavy and strong. But PU wall panels are too expensive. For customers with limited budgets, they may not be able to make a decision.
