Solution to color difference in powder spraying equipment when spraying workpieces
When the powder spraying line equipment sprays workpieces, color differences may occur in the workpiece coating due to damage to equipment accessories or inadequate maintenance, which can affect the quality and decorative value of the workpiece coating. So why does the powder spraying equipment produce color difference when spraying workpieces, and what are the solutions?
1. Micro valve damage:
Due to the use of a top pin to squeeze paint for atomization spraying in the powder spraying line equipment, when the top pin of the powder spraying line equipment has a problem and the fine adjustment valve cannot be closed, the top pin cannot press on the base, causing paint leakage. When spraying other colors of paint, the leaked paint mixes into the sprayed paint, causing color difference in the paint and resulting in color difference in the coating of the workpiece sprayed by the powder spraying line equipment. The solution is to replace the micro valve directly when the color difference is found to be caused by damage to the micro valve.
2. Clean up residual paint:
When the powder spraying line equipment is replaced with other colors of paint, if the paint conveying pipeline or flow control valve of the automatic spraying equipment is not cleaned, the previous paint will mix with the current paint, causing color difference in the paint of the automatic spraying equipment's spraying machine. Therefore, when changing the paint color, the powder coating line equipment should first spray paint solvent to clean the robot paint conveying pipeline, and then clean the solvent with clean water before spraying the replaced paint.
3. Unstable production parameters:
During the process of spraying workpieces, sometimes the fluctuation of atomization pressure or uneven spraying speed of the automatic spraying equipment can cause uneven coating thickness and color difference. However, excessive or insufficient overlap, high curing temperature, and slow assembly line speed during the spraying process can also cause color difference in the coating of the workpiece sprayed by the powder spraying line equipment. To solve this problem, it is necessary to determine the process parameters of the automatic spraying equipment, such as spraying pair, atomization pressure, spraying trajectory, baking temperature, streamline speed, etc.
